La Flor. A Mi Madre

With this volume, El Patito Editorial launches an innovative collection whose aim is to garland the creations of a universal poetic figure such as Rosalia de Castro (Santiago de Compostela, 1837-Padrón, 1885) with the illustrations expressly made for this purpose by well known artists.
In this first issue of the series the verses of the poems La Flor and A mi madre, which were produced at the beginning of  Rosalía´s literary career, establish a dialogue with the suggestive images created by Fausto Isorna (Catoira, 1961) who gets on well with the genuine poetic world, both intimate and transcendental, that pervades these particular compositions of the   poet that spent her life in Padron.
The project launched by El Patito Editorial aims at taking a step forward in the task of ennobling and exalting the work of Rosalía de Castro, dressing it up in full regalia by means of  carefully edited books that will allow readers to enjoy a timeless work of art that acquires new meanings and senses when accompanied by these amazing images.
